I especially love working with families, offering cooking lessons as well as batch-cooking preparations to ease your day. I have extensive experience in childcare, including teaching children as young as two kitchen skills appropriate for their age and abilities. Please note: all children under the age of sixteen must have an active adult present during lessons.
I'm passionate about helping everyone find joy in what they eat. I've been in the culinary industry in different roles for over a decade now, starting at a James Beard-nominated Mississippi restaurant, then as front of house in various award-winning New York City restaurants. Recently, I worked as a private kitchen manager and I’m currently service manager for a restaurant in Bushwick.
While my training was on-the-job French restaurant instruction, my personal approach is much less fussy. I specialize in foods made from scratch, served mostly family style, and prepared to showcase the ingredients used. I cook across many different cuisines but am most excited by tangy, spicy, rich foods— as well as highlighting carbs, my one true love!
Whether its a plated dinner for twelve or a cupcake decorating class for four toddlers, I seek to leave customers full, excited about what they’re eating, and, when applicable, with the skills to replicate my dishes at home. I look forward to working with you.
