Hi Guys! I'm Ashleé Ryan and I am the proud owner and founder of Mint Shrine Events. It seems like everyday I'm running around, doing a millions things per second. And I think it's because that is just how my mind and body works. There is always something to be done. And what better field to apply that to than the event planning industry. It all started when I planned my engagement party....and wow. Planning a party to a certain scale is a job. A job that I love though (aww). And nothing would make me happier than planning your event and doing my job. My husband and I hired a day-of coordinator to make sure all my DIY wedding projects were set up according to plan. Ashlee catered to all our needs- big or small- leading up to the wedding and all the way through to the very end of reception. We could not have made a better choice going with Mint Shrine Events!! Ashlee brought her assistant along to help ease my worries about all the projects I had assigned for her (setting up our escort cards on Christmas trees, making a last minute bouquet to toss, setting up our memorial table, coordinating with all the vendors, etc.) I didn't realize how important this was to me, but Ashlee kept her cool the whole time which helped me feel relaxed during prep. She also was on top of vendors who ran a bit late and we managed to all get dressed and ready ahead of schedule. Our wedding day was perfect in every way and we truly are grateful to Ashlee and Camille for making it such a smooth sailing experience. I highly recommend hiring her for any event!

Ashlee did a great job as the day of coordinator for our wedding. She was hired on a whim and had a very limited amount of time to prepare, though this didn’t stop her from diligently contacting all of our vendors and ensuring everyone’s arrival went smoothly. She is hard working, professional, and a great communicator.

Ashlee was PHENOMENAL! As a coordinator and we hired her as an MC. Our venue was a blank canvas and so we had quiet a few DIY projects and she was able to fully execute our vision. She was with us throughout the planning process on a few calls leading up until the day of. She has a calm and reassuring demeanor to her and this helped manage day of anxieties. We gave her creative liberties with our tables (memorial, sweetheart, guest, sign in) and they were all so beautiful. She managed our timeline and made sure vendors were on track and we couldn’t have been happier with our day. Thank you!!

Ashlee truly did the most on my wedding day! We had met a couple times before the day-of to discuss my expectations, timeline, and what I needed from her on my wedding day, the day of she arrived in the morning to say hello, meet & greet each vendor that arrived and to get a rundown of the day. She made sure everything ran according to plan and kept me updated that everything behind the scenes were going smoothly. She made sure all of my decor was set up exactly as I envisioned. If there was something that had gone wrong throughout the day, I have absolutely no idea that it did because she took care of it all! I'm a very particular, organized and anxious person... she made sure I felt none of the anxiety or stress on my day. I got to spend so much time with my husband and truly felt like I was in the moment all day not worrying about behind-the-scenes. Highly recommend.

Ashlee and Gigi worked really hard to make this the best day. We did not have to pay attention to any small details on the day of and were able to relax and enjoy our special day. They arranged the first look and made sure we were on schedule. Ashlee also found the perfect venue that fit our budget.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Services start at $500. We do have partial and full planning packages available.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we will have your complimentary consultation. If we decide to continue from there I will create a timeline/visionary board to start the process of creating your event. There will be bi-weekly appointments to keep everyone in the loop of what's going on with vendors and appointments.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Before starting this company I was a wedding server and bridal attendant at a waterfront venue on Long Island. I fell in love with what with my job and decided to make it my career.
