I'm Kevin. I've spent 12 years tutoring math, physics, and English, with a B.S. in mechanical engineering behind the math and science side. I also run a small team at Erulite, but the six students on my own roster are ones I teach myself, start to finish. I work with middle school through college-level coursework, all online and one-on-one.
Most of my families find me through other parents. Every student I've taken on has moved up at least a full letter grade within a semester, and several have moved up two. One came to me after failing a calculus course and aced it the following term.
HOW I WORK
You work with me, and I only take six students at a time. No rotating roster of tutors, no handoff to whoever's free this week. I teach your student every session, every week.
Getting through tonight's assignment doesn't make next week's any easier. So before we move on to new material, I find the gaps that are actually causing the trouble, usually something from a year or two back, and we close those first. Between sessions I'll often assign practice aimed at those exact gaps, not busywork.
RATES AND FIT
My rate is $150/hour. I'd rather you see that up front than find out on a call. I'm not the cheapest tutor here and I'm not trying to be. Six students is what lets me give each one a real plan.
Consistency is what actually moves grades, so I hold a standing weekly slot for each family. No packages to buy and no contract to sign. If it stops being worth it, you tell me and we're done.
