Hope consulted on my interview preparation. She consulted on everything from my wardrobe and physical presence to presentation and Q&A role play. What impressed me the most was that she was able to identify and communicate very succinctly and candidly both my strengths and weaknesses. Her ability to capture the positives made the negatives much easier for me to accept. This combination enabled me to gain confidence while also improving my pitch. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Digital Zoom : $70/hour; $200 for 3 sessions Veterans: $50/hour; $140 for 3 sessions Recent college grads: $55/hour; $150 for 3 sessions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Session 1: Discuss your needs and what you consider a success with our work together. I tape you delivering a simple 3 -5 sentence "pitch". Then we review the tape together. Together we work to improve your delivery. You will have homework - generally to prepare a 5 minute presentation for our next session. Session 2: You will deliver your presentation homework. Together we will review the tape. I will give you public speaking tips and you will continue to practice your presentation during our session. You start to feel more confident with your public speaking. Session 3: You continue to practice public speaking. You are getting more and more comfortable, clear, confident and poised.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a 30 year professional career and have given dozens of presentations, As an advisory board member of various non-profits, I have delivered fundraising and call to action charity pitches. And then, of course, there are years of family celebratory toasts. I have an MBA from Columbia University 1984, Masters in Education from Fordham University 2004 and earned a Career Coaching certification in 2017.
