I would give 10 stars if I could. Arsentiy and his crew saved my Christmas. I needed my apartment painted on short notice so I could have the apartment available for a new tenant and then fly back to see my family on Christmas. I booked another contractor, but he flaked and wouldn’t have the job done in time, so I canceled with him and booked S&A with less than 24 hours before the job needed to start. They provided the necessary insurance papers quickly and arrived on time (actually 15 minutes early) and finished the job in one day as promised. The apartment now looks brand new thanks to the paint job. I highly recommend S&A to anyone who values prompt communication and high quality work being delivered on schedule as promised.

Appreciate how the painter was able to also take care of some handyman tasks such as replacing door knobs and changing a door orientation. But we are quite underwhelmed by the quality of the actual painting work. It really surprised us that the painter didn't do any taping or prepping to protect the floor before he started painting. We had a few small drops of paint here and there after the work was done, and had to buy cleaning tools ourselves. There's also a door left half unpainted. We didn't notice it initially because the old and the new paint are similar shades of white. Overall I think there is a lack of attention to detail.

Unfortunately, we have never met with you in person, and all communication we had was with your partner Eric. Regarding your concerns about the painting work, we’d like to clarify that we protected the floor with drop cloths and plastic, as well as taped baseboards, to ensure no paint drops could appear on the floor. It’s possible the drops you found were from a previous paint job. Additionally, we fixed an arch at no cost to you after the previous plasterer you hired didn’t do it properly. We also removed all curtain rods and fixed the walls free of charge. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the oversight on the door. One of the doors needed an additional coat of paint. To address this, we offered to come back and fix it, but your partner Eric decided to take care of it himself. You also received a $100 discount for the inconvenience. Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll use it to improve our services. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
