FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a flat fee design package structure. Our clients like this format because it allows them to know upfront the price of the design services without any surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a free discovery call so that we can get to know the client and their needs, and they can get to us and our process. We quote a price on the discovery call that is binding and would not change unless the client wanted to add to the scope of the project. If the client would like to move forward, we have them complete a questionnaire and schedule a site visit. These two steps are crucial in understanding all of the wants, needs and desires for the client's project. Our approach is to get to know the client and create a design that is custom for their particular style and functional needs. We want to make sure that their personal aesthetic is expressed in the most successful way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters Degree in Interior Design and Museum Exhibition Design from the Corcoran College of Art + Design at George Washington University and the Smithsonian Institute. I have worked in the design industry for 12 years including my work for an architecture firm. Over the years I have worked on hundreds of projects.
