Teaching///:
Hi, and welcome to my guitar/music studio! My name is Tim Johnson, and I'm a Norwegian guitarist living in NYC, and would love to help you reach your musical goals!
The lessons:
I tailor the lesson plan according your personal musical taste and goals. Each student is different, and to me it's very important to get to know you and what you're passionate about, so that you'll have fun and enjoy the learning process, and keep the spark going! Whether you're into pop, jazz, rock, r&b, or beyond, we'll build the skills you need to play the music you love! I'm happy to teach any level, as long as you're willing to invest a little practice time between the lessons, so that you keep progressing. I can also help with audition prep for music college etc.
Music entertainment///:
I will provide top quality jazz for your event, with some of the best players NYC has to offer. Whether it's a wedding, private party, special occasion, christmas party, or you're just missing some live jazz in your life, I'll make it happen and leave you with an unforgettable experience. The ensemble size will be tailored to your needs, ex duo, trio, quartet of various configurations, and the repertoire can also be adjusted to your requests. Pricing is usually 150$ per hour per band member, ex: a trio would be 450$, but as always it depends a bit on the location and the situation. Looking forward to making your event a great time!!
