Alexander Hippert's Guitar Lessons

Hi! My name is Alexander Hippert, and I am a professional guitarist, composer, and music teacher based in Harlem, NYC. I teach a wide variety of guitar styles, including rock, blues, pop, funk, and classical, as well as music theory, ear training, and songwriting. My approach is personalized to each student, ensuring that you not only learn to play your favorite songs but also understand how they work and develop the tools to create your own music. My goal as your teacher is to help you build a meaningful and inspiring connection with your instrument. With over five years of professional experience in music production, film scoring, and live performance, I bring a deep understanding of music to my teaching. As a multi-instrumentalist, I’ve had the privilege of working with students of all ages and experience levels, helping them grow their skills and love for music. Lessons are available both in-person and online. I look forward to exploring the guitar with you!
