The project was a loft apartment renovation with more than the usual number of tricky aspects, but Women & Construction was/were undaunted and the project was completed to the great satisfaction of all. I would have gladly clicked all five items if I had been allowed to.

Working as an interior designer in NYC for 20 years has given me plenty of insight into a construction industry. I’ve had worked with several contractors and handymen. W&C absolutely changed my perspective, we need more women involved and leading this industry. They helped me stay on budget and surpassed my clients expectations. Monica and Nichole are nothing short of MIRACLE WORKERS. Their persistence and tenacity in handling our construction project is the sole reason it came to fruition.
We hit every obstacle possible from our disappearing asbestos inspector to issues with vendors to the building’s violation and management delays halting our construction project. However, this did not deter them and they fluidly spearheaded the complete gut renovation of our 1 bedroom pied-a-terre.
They promptly and effectively communicated with us on EVERY facet of the project - no detail, however small, was left unattended to - to ensure we clearly understood exactly what was needed and appropriately directed us on the best materials, design for our desired “look,” or best course of action.
I am beyond grateful that I had the opportunity to work with such talented visionaries! They comes with my highest recommendation.
