Suad and the Skyluxe team are EXCELLENT. Your search for a contractor STOPS HERE!!! That's the short story. Hands down, they're the best.

I will share more in detail because Suad and his team deserve a TON of accolades. When my row home in Jersey City (built in 1888) was involved in my neighbor's fire and suffered extensive damage, I really didn't know how we would rebuild (literally and figuratively).

We met a LOT of contractors who either ghosted us before or after meeting us or who were so astronomically expensive or, worse, who talked down to me as a woman and were disrespectful.

Suad was night and day different from ALL of these people. I could also tell immediately that he really cared about every project he was working on and he also completely empathized with my mom and my situation dealing with the fire. He didn't just treat my house like a house or a project - he treated it like a HOME.

Suad hires subcontractors who are friendly and very knowledgeable. Suad's team of workers are very kind, clean and hardworking. They all worked around the clock to help us restore our home to a totally new glory. Suad and I made the best out of a terrible situation (with the house fire) and he was very helpful and understanding when dealing with all of the insurance / mortgage payment release, etc.

The whole situation with dealing with the fire and certain neighbors and insurance and having to relocate to temporary housing was extremely traumatic. People warned us that it's difficult to deal with contractors. Suad was the ONE reliable and easy part of the otherwise crazy journey. I said thousands of times, "Well thank God I can rely on our contractor." And, that's the truth.

He is a hardworking person and he genuinely cares to get you the best quality without breaking the bank. He is straightforward and works hard to NOT make you have to overpay...but doesn't allow for skimping or shoddy workmanship.

I have already recommended Suad and Skyluxe to over ten people. I will continue to do so.

My husband and I hired Suad at Skyluxe for substantial renovations to our newly purchased multifamily home in Jersey City, including fully demolishing and building several new bathrooms and a kitchen, and changing the layouts of various rooms. The result is a home we absolutely love—beautiful, cohesive, and crafted with care.

Due to the scope of changes, we worked with an architect and submitted plans for city approval. While the approval process was occurring, Suad and his team diligently performed all work able to be completed while waiting for the approvals. After the initial approvals were obtained, he coordinated with inspectors and promptly and meticulously completed the project and received final inspection confirmations.

Moreover, as unexpected issues arose or we had new ideas outside the scope of the initial agreement, Suad helped to advise on solutions quickly and transparently and consistently provided fair and reasonable prices and timelines for completing additional work. For example, we found out that the space above the top floor was an unused and unfinished attic crawl space. Suad provided a reasonable proposal and coordinated with his team to help us create access to the attic and turn the space into a great, finished attic crawlspace, creating substantial storage capacity with a professional look.

Additionally, Suad has a lot of connections to other contractors who can help with products and projects. For example, we used Suad’s connections to order new high-quality windows at a materially lower price and quicker turnaround time than other window contractors we had been reviewing. Similarly, we discovered that an oddly shaped wall on several floors was covering a chimney that took up room space for no benefit, and Suad connected us with a contractor who was able to remove the chimney, and then Suad’s team patched up and painted the walls.

The primary portion of the project ultimately took around six months due to the need to wait for and receive regulatory approvals. Throughout the project, Suad and his team remained incredibly responsive and solution-oriented, with Suad personally visiting the property multiple times per week to inspect the work of his workers and advise them on further steps to take and matters that required clean-up. Moreover, we were given flexibility to adjust work to better match our vision, and Suad would direct his team to make such changes without issue. We always felt informed and supported, and the entire experience was far less stressful because of his calm, steady approach.

We would recommend Suad and Skyluxe without hesitation to anyone seeking a contractor who is skilled, trustworthy, and truly invested in their clients’ satisfaction. We were able to trust his creative talent as well as his management of our project. He has a natural eye for what works visually in a space and that honed expertise was valuable to us as we navigated our first-ever home renovation.
