Welcome to *Anyone Can Dance*, where we believe that everyone can enjoy dancing, no matter your experience level. I'm Emily, and I’ve built this studio around the idea that dancing should be fun and accessible and simple enough for beginners to understand. If you are looking for a fancy ballroom studio, this isn't it! Our focus is on natural, effortless moves that look great and make you feel confident. We create a relaxed and collaborative environment so you ENJOY learning! Whether you’re preparing for your wedding dance, planning a date night, or just looking for something new, our goal is to help you feel confident on the dance floor. We had a great time preparing for our wedding dance with Emily and we were surprised how much we accomplished in just 2 lessons! It was definitely worth it to do these lessons and Emily is professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly kept it light & fun which is so needed when doing something like this prior to the wedding.

Emily was incredible and a pleasure to work with! We were a bit nervous about our first dance for our wedding and wanted it to be something special - all eyes are on you! From the moment we met Emily and began our lessons with her, she made learning our first dance experience fun and enjoyable. She choreographed a beautiful first dance for us and practiced with us so we felt comfortable and confident. We also had a ton of fun with her! Since our wedding, our guests have raved about our first dance, how special it was, and couldn’t believe we had some of our moves - they are still talking about it weeks later and we cannot stop watching the videos. Emily will make you feel like you know what you are doing and make it feel worth it! We highly recommend her to any couple or person wanting to dance. Thank you, Emily!

Emily was great. She clearly knows how to dance and more importantly how to teach dancing. Lessons were perfectly paced and we learned how to dance before our wedding. She helped with any anxiety we had about our skill levels and was a good presence to be around. Lastly, she was open to adjusting our dance to fit our wants and needs: We wanted more spinning and she reworked it to add, we were self conscious about a certain step so she pared it way back. Can't recommend enough

Working with Emily was an absolute joy. My wife and I were looking for a dance instructor to help us with our first dance for our wedding this past Fall. We both have left feet and Emily was the perfect dance instructor who made us feel so comfortable and even made us look like dancers! Emily was super fun to work with and we enjoyed our dance lessons with her leading up to our wedding. She helped us put together choreography that went so well with our wedding song and she was always constructive and supportive as we learned it. Emily was truly amazing to work with and we could not recommend her more highly to future couples. We cannot wait to see our wedding video to see our first dance!

Emily was fantastic! She taught us the coolest moves in just three lessons. We had little background in dancing. We were so impressed by how far we had come by the last lesson. We even had to work around a sprained ankle and covid just one month before our wedding. On our special day, we nailed it! Emily was supportive, funny, patient, and flexible. We’re so happy we got to work with her!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to start out with a phone call so we can discuss exactly what you're looking for. You can let me know what song you're thinking of, the vibe of the dance you would like, and if you have any inspiration that you're working off. The more I know about what you're looking for the better. It's also good to know if you're both ready to dive in head first or looking to start slow and steady.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a professional Actress for 10 years. I've also been teaching people of all ages for over 15 years. From preschools to senior centers. I've worked at performing arts schools, private schools, private lessons, bat mitzvah dances, wedding dances, and more. I love working with beginners more than anything and showing them that they are capable of doing anything.
