Luis is helping me accomplish a longtime dream of mine- by teaching me guitar and singing lessons at the same time, I am improving my on-stage performance, and also developing more confidence to take my skills to the next level. He’s a very flexible vocal coach, working with me on my specific skills and interests, while challenging me to push myself outside my comfort zone by adding songs I’d never think of to my repertoire. I can feel my vocal range expanding as a result. Luis is also coaching me on guitar and as an absolute beginner at this, he makes lessons fun and accessible. I am picking up very quickly and even beginning to play some of my favorite songs! Luis can do it all and will ensure you have fun while building on your natural musical talents.

Chino has been very helpful with all the resources to practice and very nice teacher for a beginner like me. I started with zero music knowledge and he helped me learn reading and understanding music and have a strong base before learning the instrument itself.

Only had 2 lessons so far with Luis but I can tell you he knows his stuff. After only two lessons and tips he gave me I have seen small improvements in my voice, he has very versatile teaching methods that are easy to grasp onto and have very good effect and meaning behind them. I would totally recommend him if you want to improve your voice especially for a beginner, he is also an actor so if your an actor and wanting toti act give him a shot :)

I give trial lessons for a low fee and I work with customers who are on a budget.

I get a sense of what the customer needs and have a dialogue about the training and the expected results with time frames and goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For music lessons: I attended music school in Texas and have taught private lessons for 20 years. I studied all string instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass) as well as voice, guitar and piano. I have also taught music in public schools and I have had several music director positions in various churches. I am currently an actor/musician and dog trainer in NYC.
