Hello music friends! 🎻
I am a professional cellist, lessoner, piano teacher, and music event producer based on New York City. I’ve been teaching cello since more than 10 years ago. My students are from beginner to advanced level. Many got excellent scores on NYSSMA and All State Audition. Many of them were appointed as the first chair from school orchestra auditions. What I use for lesson is including Suzuki method, String Builder, Schroeder, Werner, Dotzauer, Lee, and other things students want.
As a committed teacher, my teaching goals is to make students feel a sense of music appreciation. It is important to help the students enjoy music and appreciate it through the act of playing well. Hopefully, as time passes, music will remain a part of their life and they will feel that their life has been enriched by it.
In addition to teaching I have had the opportunity to perform a variety of musical genres in many prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Merkin Concert Hall, Consulate-General of Poland NYC, Symphony Space among many others. I’ve played a prominent part in Ensemble 212, Secret Opera, Mannes American Composer Ensemble, Mannes Orchestra and Regina Opera. I played as an artist-in-residence at The Hollows. I also have participated in masterclasses with renowned musicians including Johannes Moser, Matt Haimovitz, Timothy Eddy, Peter Wiley, Paul Katz, and Bonnie Hampton. I was invited to take part in Habitat: Home NYC project performance and had the privilege to perform in the Women Composers Festival in Hartford, Orford music festival, Domaine Forget music festival, Round Top Festival Institute, and Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival with merit scholarships.
I studied in New York City for my undergraduate, master degree and Professional Studies Diploma at Mannes School of Music where I was the recipient of a merit scholarship and the Goldsmith Foundation Award. I am studying for my doctorate in cello performance in Stony Brook University with a full scholarship.
Nowadays, I teach wordwidely via Zoom. So please feel free to contact me!
