Hi! I am a passionate wine lover who has spent close to two decades in the food and wine industry. I am providing sommelier services and wine consulting. In addition to my time in the New York wine industry, I also studied to get an MBA in Food and Wine at the University of Bologna in Bologna, Italy. Ilana was a wonderful wealth of knowledge about wine. She added just the right ingredient we needed at our event. Our guests were able to relax and network while learning about the wines she brought to taste. We will definitely hire her again.

We hired Ilana for a wine tasting event at our home. We had about 45 people in attendance. I started discussing the details of the event with Ilana months before the event. She was always quick to respond and incredibly helpful. Everything from wine regions, types of wines, food pairings, cheeses, etc. On the day of the event, Ilana came with an assistant. They brought all the wines and glassware. Throughout the event, everything ran super-smoothly. All our guests found Ilana really informative without being unapproachable. People felt comfortable asking questions, commenting and generally learning. The wine picks were great and the event was a huge success. I will definitely be hiring Ilana again. She mentioned she also does things like beer tastings, whiskeys, etc. Can't wait. What a pleasure to work with a true professional!

We had the best time working with Ilana! She was very knowledgeable and kept our party engaged. She even brought an assistant along as we had quite a large group. Pricing was on point and professionalism was top notch. She was on time, communicated well throughout the process, and even helped give suggestions on what wines to purchase. All in all, we had a great time. 5 stars! Would hire again in a heartbeat

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I fell in love with wine while studying abroad in Italy during my junior year in college. After returning to the US, I took wine courses at Boston University. I adored those classes and then came back to New York and began to craft my wine career here!
