FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Overall total prices range widely, based on customer selected materials, bathroom size and complexity of the work performed. There are often far too many factors involved to make a proper price estimate based solely on room size or a short project description. It is always best to make a physical inspection and capture a full, detailed, explanation of the scope of work to be performed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We prefer to make a physical assessment first. This greatly diminishes mistakes and misunderstandings for the scope of work. This initial meeting and consultation is completely free and we can come to your home located any where within the 5 boroughs of New York. (Stage 1) After the initial meeting, we work with you to better confirm which exact materials will be used and confirm the look and feel of your project during the creative process. This step is crucial to better determining the complexity of your installation. (Stage 2) With the knowledge of exactly "what" you want, we can now determine all the necessary tools and materials needed to complete your project and submit an extremely accurate and sensible estimate with a small fee (which may/may not be waived). (Stage 3) If the estimate is approved, we can recruit any required subcontractors and obtain all necessary permits to proceed with the work. (Stage 4) We start and complete your project in the within the predetermined time-frame.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a certificate of completion for 900 hours of study and training in construction trade school with studies specific to carpentry, electrical wiring and plumbing through APEX Technical Trade School.
