Wonderful working with this team. Ellen was quick to respond to my Thumbtack post with a phone call and seamlessly handled all insurance requirements with my apt building. Josh did a thorough analysis on our Maytag dryer with a detailed report on the issue, which included informative photos. Within a few days, the necessary parts were ordered and Josh completed the repair. I would not hesitate to use them again for our appliance repairs.

My dryer broke and the manufacturer (Miele) gave me 2 weeks to get a tech out. City Tech was at my house within 2 hours of me putting in my request. Tech Mike was courteous and professional. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue (burned out heating assembly). I had an estimate within 24 hours for part cost and labor. As soon as they received the part, we scheduled the repair visit, and Mike and George did a great job replacing the element. I highly recommend City Tech for appliance repair.

We had hired CityTech through Thumbtack to fix an issue with a Miele refrigerator. Our technician, George, was great and professionally on-time, even texting us that he was on his way so we can anticipate ETA. He walked us through the diagnostic test. He helped us order the necessary parts and came back a 2nd time around to install the evaporator fan motor, the switch, the defrost kit, clean up the condenser coils and replace the water filter for the ice maker. The entire process was seamless and would definitely reach out to CityTech for any other HVAC&Appliance repair needs.

Alex the owner came to fix the issue with my GE washing machine drain pump. He not just fixed the issue but also went a step further ahead and examined the whole installation. I have been using the machine for 3 years but never realized the wrong hose pipe connected to the machine. Alex promptly found the issue and helped me and offered a free pair of hose pipe . He is the best. Will use CityTech HVAC repair for any future repairs for any appliance. Will absolutely recommend them. 11/10 service

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer the affordable cost of the diagnostics which is only $75 for almost all appliances except for the AC units which is $110. The diagnostics fee will be included in the cost of the labor. We provide the advantageous warranty conditions - 6 months for the part.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The whole process is - we schedule an appointment, come for the diagnostics, determine the issue, provide the cost of the repair and fix the issue.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have technicians with a minimum of 5 years of experience in appliance repair in New York. Our professional staff know how to make our customers happy, satisfied, and loyal for many years. Our master technicians are qualified and trained to repair commercial and household equipment and models: refrigerators, stoves, cooktops, ovens, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers.
