My name is Ashley Cucolo and I have been a part of the beauty industry for over 20 years. Being there for the most important day in any individual’s life is so special. I am able to prepare guests and guests of honor for their weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzfahs, Birthdays, holidays or any special event one may have. Its the most rewarding part of my job. I work freelance and travel to your location or in the comfort of your own home. My services include event styling, updos, down styling, color, cut, highlights, keratin treatments, etc. All color services require a FaceTime or zoom consultation prior to appointment to provide the best possible service.

Getting your hair done could be stressful but she made it a wonderful experience from letting me know when she was on her way and assuring me that she would be on time to showing up earlier ! Just wonderful. I got a lovely hairdo and it held up throughout all the dancing and running around !

Ashley is great at responding and being on time. Amazing job with up-dos. My 10 year old niece's hair was gorgeous in a bun, with two curls framing the face, which stayed all day and night. My hair was off my face and curled. I LOVED the volume, and the braid to hide all the bobby pins. However, I was very disappointed in the way my curls came out. They didn't last very long, and Ashley was quick to pack up and leave. I was under the impression she would fix them as they were falling out, and I mentioned them not being tight when she was doing my hair. When I curl my own hair, more heat is used and I do get the nice long curl that stays, not sure what happened. My 6 year old niece had her hair curled. She does have very fine hair, and it doesn't hold very well, as express to why she was close to last. Her curls started tight-ish, and were very loose by the time she was done. Ringlets would have been better and perhaps should have set her hair the night before and curled ourselves. All in all, it was nice to have done, and the girls enjoyed themselves but it wasn't what I expected or wanted for the money spent. I should have gone with an updo...live and learn.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All my pricing is based on the details of the job. Number of people, location, cost of travel, length and thickness of the hair, whether we will be using hair extensions or hair pieces and the intricacies of the desired style/styles. I do require a 20% deposit to secure the day and time requested. This can be sent to me via Venmo, Zelle or PayPal.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love meeting new people, so our initial conversation holds a lot of weight in moving forward. I like to really get to know and understand the client and what they want and make that happen to the best of my ability. My job is to make my clients feel special and beautiful and when they do, my job is the most rewarding.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed cosmetologist. I also participate in continuing my education through visual and hands on classes, that are parallel to todays trends. I also have a Bachelors Degree is Business and a Masters degree in corporate finance.
