Vanessa was amazing to work with! My husband I and I needed content/ wording around our love story and Vanessa was open, creative, thorough and professional with our request and getting us exactly what we needed. She brought to life some of the fun facts and memories of our relationship and allowed us to read it in a narrative form that we were able to showcase to family and friends. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on type of job (including its purpose and length) and timeline. I do take rush jobs with fast turnarounds. For editing jobs I will ask for an emailed sample of the document. For writing jobs I need to know scope, intent, audience, length, and have a sense of the tone/voice. Often this can be arranged via email but often will jump on a preliminary 15 minute phone call. Once I have the information I need I submit a written proposal with estimated cost.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a lifelong writer with a masters degree in writing. I taught writing for many years and have been doing professional editing and writing since 2007.
