FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The customer should know that my pricing goes by how long I will be working for and how much work I will need to do after the event/session as well. Weddings will typically be more money since they are long days with thousands of photos to go through afterwards. Portrait session will typically be less since they are shorter and will have less photos to work through, and will be able to deliver the photos faster. I do work with every single client about their budget and I explain what I would need to do for their shoot and we can meet somewhere in the middle. I do have travel fees if the client is over an hour away and/or if I have to cross bridges and tolls, they run between $65-$100.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually like to go over what the customers are looking to get done and if they have any references and any specific photos they need. Then we go over where they want the pictures taken and then we go over pricing. Once we are all set with those then we set a date and time. Typically this is done in person, over the phone or email works just as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Photography, and a degree in Visual Communications and Graphic Design. I have 10+ years experience in Photography, and 5+ experience in Graphic Design
