Introduction

I like to think that my students value how I tailor their lessons to their specific needs, goals and desires. There is no style that is off limits. There is no sound that they should feel embarrassed to show me. We work from where they are and get them to where they need to be. I think it is apparent that I have a great enthusiasm for teaching voice and singing. I am lucky enought to get to do what I love for a living. What I like most about teaching voice is that my students can learn so much about themselves as people. Singing is very personal. Sharing your voice with "the world" takes courage and willingness to be vulnerable. This is an ongoing journey of which I am honored to be a part.

My daughter Gianna has been taking voice lessons with Stephanie for over one year. Gianna has grown so much in terms of her levels and ranges. Stephanie has the perfect personality to help kids establish their range and how far they can go. Stephanie has been an inspiration to my daughter and has taught her so much. She so energetic, funny and makes it fun.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors in Music Education from the Crane School of Music and a Masters Degree from the New England Conservatory of Music. I have had over 20 years of voice training and professional experience in many styles of music.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I looked forward to voice lessons every week since I was a teen. I have always had close relationships with my voice teachers and I always knew that one day I would love to be one.
