Kendel Ettienne, arrived when promised, methodically and professionally, and calmly diagnosed, and fixed a electrical problem we had with a GE 55 year old double oven 4 burner stove that was a well built and excellent model that simply needed rewiring that local "expert professionals", JS Appliance INC 595 Route 25 A, Miller Place, NY charging me $90 for a service call, approximately 50% more that Doc's, totally misdiagnosed, and didn't complete anything, or offer us any assistance, or satisfaction, leaving us in the lurch and feeling we would have to buy a new, lesser quality stove, plus remove it from a kitchen and replace the overhead built in light switch and filters, fan. a somewhat expensive remodeling job. Kendel was here approximately 2 hours and charged us $150 total, including the service charge. with a 3 month guarantee on service. If you understand the situation that JS left us in, you would then get a sense of why we were so elated with Kendel and his disassembling the stove to get to the wiring, something that JS never even suggested even when i told them what I believed the problem was. I would recommend JS to NOBODY, and, based on this simple electric rewiring, (about a hundred wires faced us when we opened the panel), from someone who knew what they were doing, vs. someone who didn't, would highly recommend Kendel and Pro Mechanical's choice of hiring someone like Ken. It may have been simple to Kendel, who knows what he is doing and researched the stove before he got here, That's our story and we are sticking to it.

Ken was on time and on task! He diagnosed the the issue promptly and walked me through the solution. At that time I didn't need parts but he was helpful in finding parts for my 20 year old GE fridge for upcoming maintenance. He did not waste a second and cleaned after he finished the work. I HIGHLY recommend him to service any appliance. oh, and bonus...he gives a 90 day service warranty! I am already passing his number to friends.
