I am a certified swim instructor, a certified personal trainer, and a certified nutritionist. In 2015, I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health Studies. I’m also certified in CPR and AED, and although I haven’t had to perform CPR, or utilize the AED machine, I like to have these just in case.
For eight years I swam for Long Island Aquatic Club, a nationally ranked swim program. It was very fulfilling as I saw myself getting faster and competing with nationally ranked swimmers, some of which have gone on to swim in the Olympics. Today, I utilize all of the information and experience to create a comfortable, effective, and engaging swim program for my clients.
I have extensive experience working with beginners who have little to no experience in water and those who may even have fears or anxieties surrounding it. Over the years, I’ve developed a patient and empathetic approach, ensuring that each individual feels comfortable and supported throughout their learning journey. By breaking down each step into manageable, easy-to-understand instructions and providing constant encouragement, I help individuals gradually build confidence in the water. I understand the importance of creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where they can overcome their fears and make steady progress, fostering both skill development and a love for water-based activities.
I take a comprehensive and personalized approach to each swimmer’s development, making sure their progression aligns with their unique goals.
Providing exceptional customer service, is equally as important.
