FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sessions are $140 for a one hour lesson. Cancellation or postponement within 12 hours will be charged full time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with an introductory session covering foundational skills. I'll take a look at any previous art projects, and we'll talk about your interests and goals in order to create a customized series of lessons. We get to know each other and both decide if it's a good fit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Masters of Fine Art, 18 years of experience teaching and mentoring in public and private settings, and currently teach college level Art History. My own artwork has been shown internationally and across the United States at the South Dakota Art Museum, the Contemporary Museum of Baltimore, the Temple University Gallery in Philadelphia, and FLAG Foundation in New York. I was awarded a Chenven Foundation Grant, a Smack Mellon Studio Fellowship, and Artist Residency Grants with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the Vermont Studio Center, the Anderson Ranch Arts Center, and the La Napoule Art Foundation. My 2016 solo exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Art was named one of the Top Ten Art Shows of the Year.
