Chef Mo.. the best there is. Food was amazing! I called on him on Thursday for an event on Saturday! He was so professional so thorough and so much fun! I would honestly not recommend a better private chef than him.

This was my first time hiring a private chef for an intimate at-home dining experience, and it was such an amazing time thanks to Chef MoJo and his team!! Even prior to their arrival on the day of, Chef MoJo was superb at communication, making sure all my questions were answered while also respectfully providing guidance and advice. His pricing is extremely fair and reasonable, and truly can accommodate many different needs. Him and his team arrived on time, created such a wonderful environment for the evening, and prepared delicious meals for us. I would highly recommend him for your events or catering needs. I know that if I ever need culinary services again in the future, I’ll be booking him!

Chef MoJo was fantastic. He came a little bit before time and set up everything with beautiful flowers. He served food right on time and even packed up the extra food into tupperware to be saved for leftovers. He cleaned the kitchen wonderfully and even collected all of the trash that he generated and put it in a separate bag to be taken out. He was very professional and it was super easy to book and customize the menu. My parents absolutely loved the blend of cuisines for their 28th anniversary. Thank you, Chef MoJo! We hope to hire you again for another group event soon!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Service price per hour $75.00 USD Minimum time of service accepted 4hrs Minimum price of service accepted * $ 200.00 USD Extras: I can teach you how to cook Teach-to-cook $100.00USD hr /1-4 persons. We also have preset buffet style packages for $300 and up. These packages serve 25 - 30 people, and are delivered ready to serve. Our BBQ package is perfect for summer cookouts, delivered with meats marinated and ready for the grill, while all the sides come ready too serve.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first contact is usually too setup time, date, menu, etc. This is usually followed by finalizing menu with the client, in case a tasting is requested we would then set-up a time and date for tasting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I attended kingsborough College where I studied culinary arts . I am NYS food handlers and serve safe certified. I also require all of my cooks to take a yearly food safety course.
