FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is no complicated pricing system for my music instruction. My basic fee is $45/60minutes. Currently online lessons are very popular And I charge $35/60 minutes . If I have to travel a great distance then I might add an additional $10 for gas. Sometimes I will ask you to pay for material that I present to you but generally I will give you xeroxed copies or ask you to go and buy a certain book.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally do an assessment of a potential student to see if they’re a beginner , intermediate or advanced student. Then I try to make the first few lessons as fun as possible by getting the student to play songs that they really like .
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I believe in the Juilliard standard of directed self study. I am always trying to learn. I have found You Tube to be a resource that is invaluable.
