We put in a service call to have our back door fixed. Vlad assessed the situation and repaired the hinge instead of replacing the hinge - I didn't mind as long as the door served its purpose of opening and closing correctly. One week later, the door literally fell off its hinge, and I called to have someone come over to put the door back up. Vlad said he had told me that I needed to buy the hinge (even though Flo's invoice says repairman will asses whether repairing the hinge or replacing it is best, and repairman will replace hinge if needed), I don't remember him saying that. And at the time, I brought up how the door closes and opens in an odd manner (especially compared to how it opened previously -- it's a bi-directional door), Vlad waived it off saying the way the door is functioning is normal. I took him for his word because he seemed sincere and so left it as is. One week later, my door is on the floor. He said he told me I needed to buy a hinge, I don't remember him saying this, but okay -- I'll buy the hinge and have it installed. But, for the time being, I have no back door and needed him (or someone else from the company) to stop by and at least pop the door back into place for the time being. He said that the door coming off its hinges wasn't his fault, that the door gets a lot of traffic (even though its a back door that's barely used), that someone might have aggressively handled the door, and that he would not come in to pop the door back into place without charging me for another service call. I spent almost $500 a week ago to have this situation fixed, not only did it not get fixed and we're in a worse situation than we're in before having the door serviced by Flo but also they weren't willing to stand behind their work and help out because of subpar work (without charging for another $500 service call). If you're getting handyman work done with Flo (or any other handyman) take plenty of before and after pictures, so at least when you dispute a project, you'll have strong evidence to support your case instead of a he-said, she-said scenario.
