- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every Case is different, but here are some things to consider... How many times will we need to meet prior to your wedding? Where will we meet? How much time, energy, and material will your ceremony require? Will I (the officiant) incur any additional expenses? (special clothing, books, materials, travel, etc.) My fees: Totally depends on your needs. I try to work with most people's budgets. My fees include unlimited phone and e-mail support. In some cases I have also been known to have in person consultations. Every Wedding is different.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Get acquainted, determine their needs, compile all the factors we discuss and then generate a more accurate quote once I have all of the necessary information. I also trouble shoot any issues along the way. I typically remain in somewhat regular contact as the ceremony is compiled. I also help with explaining the whole paperwork process, and finally I follow-up after the ceremony is over in order to confirm that the final papers have been received. Throughout all of that, I try to be available by phone, email, text, Skype (occasionally).
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Customized wedding ceremonies are the most popular, followed by personalized wedding ceremonies. Other than weddings, Child Blessings and Funerals/Memorials are the most common, but I have certainly been called upon for a number of other services.
