I had a leak in my outdoor spicket that was getting progressively worse as the days went on, on a house I recently purchased. I priced several plumbers and all were outrageously expensive. I was at my wits end worried about foundation damage and finally came across Local Plumbing and Electric in Dutchess County. Tom agreed to come the next day and had a truck full of equipment and was ready to tackle the job. He managed to not only stop the leak but also prevented my boiler from completely stop working in the dead of winter. He wasn’t even here for that particular job but heard the noise coming from the garage on his way out and took a look and immediately priced the part for me. He was reasonably priced, friendly, respectful and very down to earth. I am in the real estate industry and will definitely refer him to ALL of my clients! He cleaned up after his projects and kept in contact to let me know the status of the ordered part and his availability. He was amazing, did a great job and did not take advantage of a bad situation when he could have. I will continue to use him throughout the repair of this house. Highly recommend!! had an emergency and called them up tom came down and fixes my water heater. Did a fantastic job running the pipes. No mess left behind 10/10 will be calling for any other pluming or electical jobs.

I had an emergency under my kitchen sink. I turned the water off. Called around no one answered. Tom the plumber local legend was the only person. Came to my home in 30 minutes. Fixed the issue. Immediately and charged a very fair price. I will Definitely use Tom in the future.
