If you have the opportunity to work with Sofiya, grab it! She is very resourceful when solving problems, breaking down techniques into easy to understand and execute (with practice!) solutions. She is an excellent communicator and listener and is highly motivating. She has done so much for my confidence as a violinist and has brought joy back into my playing.

I played violin for 8 years when I was younger. I really did love it. Life happened and I stopped playing for about 15 years. One day I woke up and told myself I’m going to try and play again. Sofiya helped me feel like I did when I was a kid. I was able to remember so many things with her by my side. She has such great patience, and a love for the instrument that just exudes on its own. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or expert, she can help you at any point along the way. She is a wonderful violinist and teacher.
