COSTCO AND IKEA CALL US 🙂
When I started this business back in 2005, there were only 3 companies on Long Island offering this service. Now, there's tons of guys doing this as "side gigs" or hustles. Many of them are not even businesses, which means they're not insured. So, If a problem arises from the work they did. It's on you to deal with it. These types of pop up gig guys are making it much tougher on us to survive! So please try to "shop local" and use the team that began this almost 20 years ago and still treats every job like it's our first. As many ups and downs as we've had throughout the years, were the strongest we've ever been in 2023.
I had no idea the ups and downs a business would throw at me. I was 24 years old, in the FDNY academy wondering which route I should take. I decided to go my own way. Made tons of mistakes along the way but think I have finally figured it out.
I got my first experience from working at IKEA as a builder. I was employed there beginning in 1999 assembling furniture for the AS-IS department. I resigned and B&B's was born on July 8th 2005. We were able to get our business cards in IKEA along with two other companies. Very quickly it became apparent to IKEA that we were the best company to choose from and our first ever contract was with IKEA on Long Island. One of our biggest jobs was redoing their entire showroom! We've done it about 5 times now. B&B's was the ONLY company they referred their customers to for many, many years. We had a small office inside IKEA and you could set up an appointment with us right by home delivery. If you ever purchased furniture from ikea and had "IKEA" assemble it, you may not realize it but you probably used our service! Unfortunately, around 2019 they have moved their recommendations to a thumbtack like service using a national company which we could not compete with. Their coworkers still call us though. 😂 So things have changed but so did we.
We've been assembling Gazebos since we started out but not until around 2020 did they really gain in popularity. While we are still a furniture assembly company, we are focused more than ever now on outside living and backyard design. Since the pandemic started, a lot of people have realized that they can have a beautiful vacation area right in their backyard. That's where we come into play.
Gazebos are not easy to assemble. In fact, I wonder sometimes how they expect ltheir customers to assemble some of them. We have all the necessary experience to deal with any issue that may arise. I personally have been assembling everything you can think of since 1999 and am on 100% of the jobs. Hopefully that changes one day 🙂 but for now, I guess I am too much of a perfectionist to put my company's hands in someone else's care. Also, I love what I do! Nothing is better than a happy customer who wants to tell everyone about your service! This is why you should call us!
Now, there are a wide variety of companies to choose from. Most of them being handymen or moving men who are the 'jack of all trades but masters of none'. Guys who have dabbled in furniture or Gazebo Installation so all of a sudden they're pros? I don't think so. You wouldn't believe what I have seen over the years from being called in to fix others mistakes.
Sure, there's guys out there that can put things together, but are they actually a business? Are they insured? Will they call you back when u notice a problem with their work? Can they troubleshoot issues from having over 20 years of experience.
We have decades of experience installing and building furniture and gazebos of all types, from any manufacturer. We also were contracted with Furn-A-Kit until they closed down in the beginning of 2020. They sold all different types of furniture. Kind of like an ikea just with more complex stuff and less to choose from.
We assembled every single bench you see at every LIRR station on Long Island. So if you're sitting on a LIRR bench reading this, we built that!
We've been around! We've installed 1000's of Murphy Beds all over the country. From Whiteman Air force base in Missouri to another base around Peoria, Illinois, 2 different hotels in Chicago. The world famous Atlanta Marriott Marquis, where The Hunger Games was filmed, Washington University student housing, Loon mountain in New Hampshire. Scottsdale AZ, San Diego, Annapolis Maryland (Those were fun right guys?) Cincinnati, Fort Collins Colorado, Hollywood Florida, Toronto Canada 2x, Virginia University, a hotel right outside the entrance to the grand canyon in AZ and many, many more. Always without a hitch.
We installed all the furniture for almost all of the Coach stores that are within Tanger outlet properties. Katy Texas, Houston Texas, Lousiana, Pearl Mississippi, The Ozarks in Missouri and a few others I can't think of.
We also put up many displays at the Jacob Javits Center In NYC. 🗽
Most Recently, in Feb 2023, we installed Yardistry gazebo displays for Costco inside their stores. They knew who to use, you should too! Believe me, the Costco gazebos are gazebos you need experienced people on!
We've done it all!
We are devoted to giving you the best service possible and stand behind all of our work. As well, we're fully insured so you have no worries, if there ever was an issue. Thankfully, we've never needed to use our insurance.
We are 100% committed to ensuring that every] +l 9}customer is satisfied and the work we perform is of high quality. In light of this, we provide a 1-year guarantee on all work done.
Don't hire a contractor, a handyman or a trucking company to assemble your furniture or gazebo. Call an actual assembly company!
We are an Assembly and Installation company. This is what we do. We aren't just handymen or carpenters (although we are also handyman and carpenters) who 'think' we can do this. We don't call in subcontractors to do work for us. We do all the work ourselves. And I, myself is on the job all of the time. If you want someone who is experienced in assembling anything that needs assembly, we are your guys.
If you have made it this far I thank you for reading and I hope you give us a try!
