FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a loose rule of thumb, we charge about $2.00 per square foot. Many factors can alter that number though, which is why an in-person quote is so important. The quote will include the cost of labor, and then a 12% materials and usage fee. This fee represents the maintenance on our equipment, and all of the materials we buy in bulk for our work, including things like caulk, tape, ceiling paint, and trim paint. Above the price of the quote, the only additional thing you’ll need to pay for is the wall paint, which is unique to every job. Additionally, we have a Referral/Re-hire bonus of 5%. So if you refer us to a friend and we charge them $3000, you will get $150, just like that.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was a professional interior painter for decades. So naturally, he taught all of his sons how to paint. After working for various corporations and companies for a few years, my wife and I finally decided to start our own small interior painting company in 2023.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Customers should have in mind what kind of quality they are truly looking for. Generally speaking, you get what you pay for—low priced painters won’t have the time to make things perfect, while high priced painters may spend too much time making things more perfect than you require.
