Drawing from her extensive teaching experiences, Celeste has found that employing a holistic approach, addressing the body, mind, and emotions as interconnected facets, results in significantly greater effectiveness. In her sessions, she guides students through sequences of traditional yoga asanas infused with various meditation techniques, breathwork (pranayama), as well as elements of dance techniques, Tai Chi principles, and Nei Kung exercises. Each session, with its distinct focus, is uniquely tailored to accommodate the student's level, needs, and current physical and mental states.
With strong emphasis on alignment adjustments, Celeste provides assisted stretches extensively with precision to angles and rotations of specific problem areas throughout the sessions. She guides students to cultivate awareness of breath and mind qualities and states. Her sessions are designed to work through specific movement techniques tailored to one's current physical, mental, or emotional challenges, aiming to alleviate anxiety, tension, depression, or anger, and promote inner peace, happiness, and lightness.
MEDITATION
As someone who values authenticity in all aspects of life, Celeste has been traveling to India since 2000 to learn and train in meditation and yoga as she believes in the experience of the true essence of things through personal experimentation. She spent six years learning and training in Tibetan Buddhist meditation in monasteries of the Himalayan mountains of north India and Hindu Vedic Verdanta medication in ashrams of south India. As the quality of breath is paramount for the well-being of the mind and body, each meditation session integrates breathing techniques and sound therapy with different modalities of meditation to foster balance and coherence of the body, mind, emotions, and spirit.
