FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing mainly depends on the subject matter and the level of tailored lesson planning that goes into each student for their specific issues. I work diligently behind the scenes to ensure that students save time and money in our sessions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do intake by assessing the student with their current level of knowledge and looking over any previous exams or assignments they have completed. I usually dive into the lesson or practice test and I can see problem areas from the start because I have been doing this for so long. I really try not to waste time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My educational background includes: a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Science with a minor in Business Administration at York College, four years of completion in the St. John’s University’s Pharmacy program, and an advanced Regents diploma from Brooklyn Technical High School, a specialized high school, where I majored in Chemistry. I have also interned at the FDA and have an extensive list of other extracurriculars. I have passed all background checks and I am a Certified Tutor through Varsity Tutors. I also completed state-required teaching certifications while I was a STEM teacher in 2019 for a summer program throughout Queens and Long Island through Top Elite of STEM. In addition, I was a classroom teacher for the Smart and Talent Institute Tutorial and have been a personal tutor for several families. I take an intuitive and holistic approach to my students’ educational needs. With all that mentioned, I am passionate about learning, and I am dedicated to spreading that knowledge!
