FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is important to know that I will work very diligently to minimize the client's tax liability. I will ask as many questions as is necessary to make sure that the tax picture that is presented to Federal and State agencies are as accurate as possible and considers the client's specific tax situation. The fees that I charge are due and payable prior to releasing or filing final tax documents.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new customer is to do an initial consultation to determine the specific needs of the client. Once the needs of the client have been realized, I give the client an estimate of the total cost of their tax preparation services so that they know up-front what to expect to pay. If the client chooses to move forward with me a Client Intake is completed and an appointment is made. During this time of COVID-19, the appointments are typically virtual. Document collection can take different forms. I collect documents by physically picking them up from the client, by mail, via email, or text. It typically depends on what is most comfortable and convenient for the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Undergraduate Degree in Economics; a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a second Masters Degree in Science with a concentration in Financial Management. I have been serving the tax community for over 25 years and I have tax, retirement planning and insurance clients across the country.
