I'm Marc Anderson, founder of The White Barn Studio. I was born in Missoula, Montana and raised in Long Island, NY. My passion for photography was apparent at a young age. It was manifested the first time I witnessed a print appear in the darkroom chemicals years ago. After deciding to dedicate myself to a career in photography, I studied at the leading, Center for Imaging Arts and Science, at Rochester Institute of Technology. My career of over 20 years as an on-set camera technician and high-end boutique retoucher has afforded me the opportunity to travel the world and work with many top clients including Ralph Lauren, Covergirl, Revlon, Victoria's Secret, NBC, Showtime and Vogue. I bring this experience to all of the services I provide. You can rest assured you’re in expert hands Photography has always been a passion for me. I thrive on the creative process and the satisfaction I get from achieving images that I'm proud of and clients love. I find the best part of the process is the experience of meeting many new and interesting people!

We hired White Barn Studio to complete our corporate headshots. He arrived at our office ahead of schedule. He was honestly a blast to work with. His personality came out, which brought ours out as well. He did 13 individual headshots and a group photo. I have only heard happy remarks from everyone!

Marc has been nothing but professional since the start. His responsiveness and turn around time was phenomenal! I was so happy with everything he did for us and how he went out of his way to make sure every detail was perfect. I wanted a custom made backdrop and he made sure I had exactly what I wanted. I was very impressed and super happy with how he put so much time into making our event special. I would hire Marc for anything!

Marc was excellent in every way - super responsive, easy to work with, delivered exactly what I asked. His pictures were gorgeous (and were provided to me online less than one week after the event) - my family and party guests loved them as well. I made special requests, and he met them all. He really captured the spirit and fun of our party, and it will last a lifetime. I'm so glad I found Marc and would love to work with him again in the future. Would not hesitate to hire him again for beautiful photos and a completely easy, wonderful experience from start to finish!

To say I had the best experience would be an understatement! Marc did an amazing job capturing our newborns moments. Being a new mom I didn't want to have to worry about traveling to a studio. The White Barn Studio came to my house and set up professional equipment in small corner giving our pictures the same quality outcome. Marc also spend quality time making sure to capture any authentic movement my daughter, husband and I made. Unlike other photgraph studios you feel the pressure of the clock. I am a hard critic when it comes to the art of photography. I can honestly say I couldn't have made a better choice in my decision. I look forward working with Marc and The White Barn Studio in the future.

All service have different price points please inquire.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a phone or email consultation with my customer about their needs and expectations. After we establish the scope of the job we move into budget, then the logistics of producing the shoot
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in Advertising Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. Before becoming a photographer I was/am a high end boutique retoucher in NYC for 5 years, before that I was a digital capture technician for 8 years. This experience gave me the opportunity to work with the top photographers and client in the world.
