My late husband studied engineering before pursuing middle eastern music and instrument restoration. He knew how things should be done and he respected good craftsmen and women: He would have really appreciated Brandon and Joe from Starfyre Glass and Windows. Over the years, I've had lots of professional workers in my apartment; Starfyre is among the best of these. They expertly removed a Morrocan shutter and grille to replace a bathroom window and they put the shutter back correctly; a repair to my living room window now allows me to open and close it. They are knowledgeable across a range of skills (painting and French door replacement, for example); their work is precise; they responded to my inquiry immediately, and I found both Joe and Brandon to be punctual, trustworthy (a woman's got to be careful about who comes into the apartment), responsible for clean-up, and so polite and personable without being intrusive. And the cost was reasonable too. I will hire Starfyre again; I'll save myself headaches, scammers, and guys who talk a good game but do a bad job. Thank you, Starfyre!
