I vividly remember the first time Dan came to our home to discuss our remodeling project - he was here for nearly 2 hours, walking through the house, taking detailed notes, learning more about us, and what we were looking to accomplish. My wife and I were blown away by his thoroughness and attentiveness, especially for what was just an introductory/initial meeting (no money or contract remotely in place or discussed).We met with other contractors, but as soon as we met with Daniel, we felt so comfortable with him and knew he would be the best fit. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect a process as stressful, hectic, and uncertain as a home renovation to turn out to be so exciting (and educational).The same attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and professionalism we experienced at the first meeting carried on throughout the entire project- by Daniel AND the entire team.Daniel remained available and responsive; it was very reassuring to have him along our sides from start to finish. He always made our job seem like his top priority, even though we know he's a busy guy with many other projects and clients. He is very easy to communicate with, flexible, has exceptional ideas, great attention to detail, and most importantly - honest and trustworthy!Daniel is not just the "build logistics" guy. He is a really outstanding designer himself - one example, I was super impressed with his recommendations when last minute I wanted to change a portion of the agreed upon layout to the main floor. He took a few moments to think and then shared the perfect suggestions that required a few small changes. It made all the difference and he handled all the logistics with the architect and design team. I didn't have to pay for additional floor plan revisions or extra designer or architect fees. Dan came up with a design that I liked (note: I do not like run of the mill cookie cutter styles - we wanted a custom, eclectic design) so not the easiest client for him & they nailed it! There were a handful of change orders but the budget managed to remain within our initial parameters.These small gestures make the difference between a good contractor and a GREAT contractor.Special thank you to the designer, Tony was wonderful. The project manager Fred and the entire team. Everyone was incredible. We loved seeing familiar faces working at our home whenever we would come by for our team meetings.As we did the final walk through, it was surreal to see Dan wrap things up. He has been an important part of our lives throughout this journey and we are so very grateful that our house was in his hands! :)We are overjoyed with the way our home turned out and would absolutely recommend Daniel to anyone looking for a loyal, ethical, unbelievably talented team of professionals. We are so grateful.

Extreme Makeover- you've see the television show. This was the real life transformation of a tired 1950s home in desperate need of a total transformation. Our project was not simple. We spent 5 months meeting with different contractors, architects, and designers. When we met Daniel, my wife and I instantly knew it would be the perfect fit. Their full service approach was almost too good to be true and we quickly learned how valuable their approach to construction would be. Daniel has the perfect combination of experience, foresight, talent and interpersonal skills that has transformed what most would view as a major disruption into a genuinely enjoyable experience.Anyone fortunate enough to benefit from their services will have a truly enjoyable experience and will love the outcome of their efforts.Our designer was wonderful.Our project manager was organized, pleasant, and always kept us well informed.We began to feel as if we were working closely with good friends as opposed to just clients of a company.We are now in our dream home and still cant believe its ours.Thank you DD&B for a wonderful experience. Daniel is a breath of fresh air.He is honest, knowledgable, and creative. My husband and I met with several contractors. With this company, we felt a real trust with the entire team.The designer, Shellie, had an incredible eye for detail and made the selection process easy for a working couple with a toddler and another on the way. We have are in our new home now and couldnt be happier with the outcome and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend Daniel Design-Build to any of our friends.One regret - We would have utilized the in house architectural planning for the full design and build service rather than hiring a separate architect but in the end Dan made working with him as easy as possible. We are so grateful!
