- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always book your entertainer at least a 1/2 hour to an hour into your party start time to allow all or most of your guests to arrive so everyone can benefit from the service. Be honest about the number of guests attending your party so that the best service can be provided to all of your guests and an appropriate time frame is booked. Face painting takes time. A rushed job of face painting is not impressive. Usually up to 5 mins per child is recommended to keep the line moving. Book your time according to the amount of guests needing face paint. Have an area reserved for the artist away from high traffic, loud speakers and water activities. If outdoors, provide shelter (not under a tree) from weather such as extreme heat/sunlight, high winds, rain, cold, etc...Ask the artist if bringing a tent would suffice. Let the artist know if you would not be able to provide an extra table/chairs/tent so this can be accommodated. You may be subject to an additional fee, as set up and break down requires additional time.
