FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are based on 1 hour of yoga/pilates/meditation services. Our session together will take place at your residence or office or at my studio space, depending on your preference. During this time, we will work directly with your wellness goals. I do offer longer sessions upon request. I also offer a discount when purchasing class packages.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, our initial step is to set up a time for a quick (about 5 minute) phone call in order to discuss your goals and preferences, any specific conditions you may be working with and your scheduling requirements. If it seems like a good fit, we will go ahead and schedule our first session. Pretty simple!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yoga: I have completed both a 200-hour teacher training and a 300-hour advanced apprenticeship program (this is sort of like a Master’s Degree for yoga teachers). Currently, I am the lead trainer of my fourth cohort of aspiring yoga teachers. I continue to take professional workshops. Pilates: I studied Pilates with Ellie Herman. Anatomy: I studied applied anatomy and kinesiology at the Function Anatomy Academy with Jason Ray Brown and Bodymind Ballwork with Ellen Saltonstall. Meditation: I studied mindfulness meditation at Insight Meditation Center with Elaine Retholtz, completing a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course in 2014.
