What I offer in my sessions:
Vinyasa Yoga (200 and 30 hour trainings at Kula Yoga Project)
Thai Yoga - a form of assisted stretching (Trained through Two Souls Massage)
Meditation instruction (attended retreats with Wat Suan Mokkh and IMS)
Birth doula support (DONA training and Living Womb mentorship)
I've always loved to observe the intimate connection between movement and mood: the calm stillness that follows a hike in the woods, the rush of endorphins you feel after you've just performed, or the exuberance of handstands, cartwheels, or just hanging upside down on the monkey bars. Yoga takes advantage of this connection, providing us with many tools for growth. I believe that by gaining greater understanding of our own bodies and minds, we can foster healthy relationships to ourselves, others, and the planet. In my sessions, my goal is to offer you what can best serve you in the moment. One day you might want to be energized by a fast paced, high intensity vinyasa flow class with a touch of pranayama, another day you'd prefer to feel grounded with some Thai yoga and assisted stretches plus guided meditation.
I did my 200 hour teacher training and 30 hour Bridge Training at Kula Yoga Project under the direction of Nikki Vilella, Magi Pierce, Nikki Costello, and Jillian Turecki and my 60 hour Thai Yoga training with Al Turner II of Two Souls Thai Massage. I recently started working as a birth doula and hope to get my prenatal vinyasa and Thai yoga certifications soon.
