Don't even think of hiring someone else. Simon is knowledgeable, patient and straightforward. He takes customer service to a level of excellence we don't see very often anymore. He hand delivers items himself with others from his shop and wants to make sure that the customer is happy. If he doesn't like the way something looks, like the pillows from the couch he had just done, he takes them back and redelivers them within a few days. He wants to be totally satisfied and proud of his work. His execution is quick compared to other shops and he follows your project himself from start to finish. This is not the person you need to be after to make sure he finishes the job, he is fully committed and his team will deliver. Hi prices are reasonable for the quality he delivers and I cannot stress enough how you won't have to wait 3 months to see your pieces completed. Simon has a lovely personality and he is fun to work with. He is always trying to help and offers referrals that he trusts if you happen to be looking for any other trades to complete your remodeling or decorating project. He takes pride in what he does and appreciates quality, his company's work and his personalized customer care is a testament to the great experience you will have working with him. Having been through many such projects, it has been a delight to work with a real professional who cares about his work.

It was a pleasure working with Simon! We had two items recovered. He visited on a Sunday, and had several fabric options. Exactly two weeks later, the furniture was returned, and was AMAZING!!!

Simon's work is impeccable. He redid 9 pieces for us and each one is lovely. Even though we already had yardage numbers, he came to measure the furniture to make sure we didn't spend extra money on fabric by over ordering...and saved us money. He also advised that the fabric I'd selected for our hardback sofa was too thick to lie flat and if I was uncomfortable with that look, I would want another option. I switched to a backup fabric I'd considered and it came out wonderfully...especially since the sofa has channel stitching and required extra precision. His delivery team was also efficient, friendly, and careful. Simon is a true pro.

I’ve never used thumbtack before and we were apprehensive to do so as we usually go through friends or designers’ referrals to get house work done. All that to say that Simon was so wonderful that I want to submit this review. He responded the same day I inquired about repairing the leather/vinyl on our banquette in the kitchen. He reupholstered our dining banquettes as well as our fancy knoll chairs. He brought many sample fabric to show us. He even threw in pillows. We loved the results. He was quick and even got special COVID insurance to be able to deliver to our apartment during the pandemic. I am already looking for our next job to give him. Well done Simon. Thank you.
