I think Simon would probably be best at upholstering an existing piece of furniture. We had him make banquette cushion seating and we tried to work out the imperfections but unfortunately, the seat doesn’t connect properly and Simon just sent us Velcro in the mail for us to DIY. But for $4,000, I expected the seat to really fit our bench perfectly. Nice guy, responsive but this type of job was disappointing.

Simon was so great. He had the exact material (leather) we were looking for to recover our chairs. He picked them up Monday, and had them finished on Wednesday. Amazing. Highly recommended!

Simon's work is impeccable. He redid 9 pieces for us and each one is lovely. Even though we already had yardage numbers, he came to measure the furniture to make sure we didn't spend extra money on fabric by over ordering...and saved us money. He also advised that the fabric I'd selected for our hardback sofa was too thick to lie flat and if I was uncomfortable with that look, I would want another option. I switched to a backup fabric I'd considered and it came out wonderfully...especially since the sofa has channel stitching and required extra precision. His delivery team was also efficient, friendly, and careful. Simon is a true pro.

I’ve never used thumbtack before and we were apprehensive to do so as we usually go through friends or designers’ referrals to get house work done. All that to say that Simon was so wonderful that I want to submit this review. He responded the same day I inquired about repairing the leather/vinyl on our banquette in the kitchen. He reupholstered our dining banquettes as well as our fancy knoll chairs. He brought many sample fabric to show us. He even threw in pillows. We loved the results. He was quick and even got special COVID insurance to be able to deliver to our apartment during the pandemic. I am already looking for our next job to give him. Well done Simon. Thank you.
