FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You can split private lessons with a friend for same price! Long term students can receive bulk discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We often rally 20+ balls in a row in an easy cooperative manor during which I can learn about the player and see what can most improve their abilities. I introduce the most essential idea first and then develop it with appropriate drills/games. These let player feel the mechanics instead of just intellectually describing events. It also means more fun!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Each year I attend the tennis teacher's convention at the US OPEN where the worlds best coaches' from around THE WORLD show their training methods. I have a keen eye, and I use it to watch the top players in very slow motion and then hit that way to understand better their methods. Aside from years of playing tennis, I have studied Tai Chi for decades and bring the special understanding of the 5000 year old forms into the modern tennis stroke. This is a knowledge base you will not find elsewhere.
