She earned her Master of Music in Piano Performance and Advanced Certificate in Piano Pedagogy at New York University.
As a piano instructor, Laura's teaching philosophy is based on the belief that every child and adult student has the ability to learn and enjoy music! Her goal is to help each student reach their full potential and become well-rounded musicians. Laura strives to create a learning environment where students feel supported and motivated to excel. Wether students are beginner, intermediate, or advanced pianists, Laura find joy and fulfillment in teaching at every stage of the piano development process. Through their piano lessons, students gain the technical and musical skills necessary to play the rich and diverse canon of piano repertoire. Laura emphasizes the power of regular practice and encourages her students to establish a consistent practice routine. She strongly believe that every student can play well, if they are taught correctly and stay committed.
The first step to getting started is to schedule a free consultation with Laura. Together, you'll arrange a time for a consultation phone call, to learn more about your goals and prior experience as a pianist (if any). Following this call, all students qualify for a non-binding trial lesson. After the trial lesson, if student and teacher mutually determine that they are a good fit for one another, students registers for monthly 4-lesson packages. Laura Looks forward to starting this musical journey with you!
If students chose to embrace performing as an aspect of their piano training, Laura offers ample opportunity for both children and adults students to perform.
