FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing reflects the quality and experience I bring to each performance, along with the exceptional musicians who join me. I’m happy to discuss your budget and explore options that work for you, and I aim to provide flexibility when possible. However, I also ask that we respect the initial quote, as it reflects the professionalism, skill, and preparation that go into delivering an unforgettable performance. Negotiating within reason is absolutely welcome, and I’m committed to finding the best way to bring live music to your event without compromising on quality.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal is to make the music planning seamless and tailored precisely to your event. Here’s how I typically work with clients: First, I’ll need to know the event’s details—specifically the duration of music, location, and whether you’re interested in a solo, duo, trio, or a full band. With this information, I can provide a clear, customized quote. Once the logistics are set, we’ll discuss the vibe and musical style you envision. Whether it’s elegant jazz standards, upbeat Latin grooves, or even some pop tunes, I’ll create a set that’s perfect for the atmosphere you want. I’m happy to take special song requests; just keep in mind that these may add a bit to the overall cost. I can travel anywhere within the New York area, and I have a reliable car for transportation, though travel fees will apply depending on the distance. All of the musicians I bring are among New York’s finest—Julliard and Berklee graduates, and some even Grammy winners. I’ll work with you to understand the flow of the event and select the perfect musicians to make your party shine. We’re jazz musicians at heart, but our versatility lets us adapt to any mood, making each performance unique and memorable.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
