Most personal trainers are completely fitness based. All of their knowledge comes from various personal training certifications. However, I have a much more in depth knowledge of movement because of my dance background. Not only do I understand what it takes to be fit, strong, flexible, and lean, but I understand the proper alignment and how to keep you injury free. My eyes are trained to spot imperfections, and correcting those imperfections are an important part of shaping your ideal body. In addition to working with my clients in-person, I offer remote online health/fitness training programs and FaceTime/Skype Sessions. I'll design a fitness plan that fits seamlessly into your lifestyle and the resources you already own. Hate going to the gym but have some weights at home? Or actually like the gym but can only make it there 2 times a week? Can't stand cardio, but adore yoga? Whatever your preferences and limitations are - I'll take them into account to create a realistic workout plan for you. As you progress, your program will too. Small, doable changes and consistency will lead to BIG results. I'll be here for you along your process, providing accountability and support.

I’ve been training with Anna for about a month now and I’m truly motivated by the changes I’m seeing. One of my biweekly sessions is on Monday mornings at 6:10 am, and seriously, she gets me up and running and feeling great despite the early hour! She is super positive and personable and always brings a great playlist! Both my boyfriend and I are dealing with injuries and she is very knowledgeable and aware of what motions aggravate the pain. Plus she is a total stickler for form, which really makes all the difference when it comes to preventing further injury. She also keeps the workouts interesting and different each time, so nothing is super routine or mundane. Even once she’s sculpted us to a couple of cut marble statues she assures us she’ll still be able to make us sweat and work hard and get STRONGER! The other thing I noticed and appreciate is that Anna comes with notes and a plan for our day’s work out. This makes me feel like she is invested in our success and isn’t just showing up at our house, shrugging, and saying ‘drop and give me 20.” Plus she told me the other day that my triceps were poppin’. So a good review she will get! I love training with Anna and highly recommend her.

I couldn't be more pleased! Anna is caring, smart, a good listener and a strong motivator. She has gone above and beyond my expectations by extending herself to collaborate with my PT who's treating me for a chronic condition. Anna is a delight! I came to Boston in 2012 as a grad student, not inspired to exercise, eat healthy, or focus on my well-being. I knew something was wrong, because I realized I was becoming lethargic, depressed, and uninspired. I gained a lot of weight the year before I came to Boston, weighing up to 180 lbs max. With a 27% body fat and the BMI certainly in the overweight category, I knew I had to do something, but I did not know what, how, or even why I had to exercise. Anna reached out to me one day while I was attempting to work out. She was incredibly genuine and interested in me from the first time she met me. After the first free session, I was hooked. Her personality, her enthusiasm for fitness, and her dedication were apparent from the beginning and made me feel incredibly comfortable. I never felt like I was judged (I couldn't even do one push-up), and I knew she had my health interests as hers and had been incredibly patient with the progress I've made. That was two years ago. Fast forward to today, I am hovering around 15% body fat, I weigh 142 lbs, and the BMI is in the normal category. Now I can do multiple sets and repetitions of push-ups. I am still with Anna and plan to be as long as we are both in the same city, which is a testament in how every session, I feel inspired to take care of my health. I am much stronger, fit, leaner, and confident than I was two years ago. In those two years with Anna, she had taught me one thing that exceeds in importance any sit-up, push-up, or pull-up I do: I am in control of my own health. I am certainly not done with my fitness goals. Being fit, stronger, and leaner is a never-ending goal, but knowing Anna is at my side, I can turn my goals into reality. Thank you Anna!

Anna is the best! She truly goes the extra mile to develop a program that works best for your lifestyle and your goals. She has an amazing personality, she’s up-beat, funny and down to earth - and makes training with her something you look forward to doing (which says A LOT because I have a hard time getting motivated!!). Anna does anything she can to keep you on track and identify what’s working and what’s not. She has really helped to get me to a healthier and happier place in my life, which I am so grateful for and why I still continue to work with her for over 2 years now!

I really enjoyed working with Anna over the last few weeks. This was this first time I tried personal training, and Anna did a phenomenal job personalizing my workout routine and helping me establish some goals for my sessions. She took the time to understand my background/fitness history before building a plan, and made sure to follow-up on my goals at every session. She was also exceptionally flexible with timings/scheduling, and this made it that much easier for me to get the most out of my sessions since I work a fairly demanding full-time job with lots of last minute scheduling issues. I would definitely recommend working with Anna, and she will be sure to get you out of your rut and into a good workout routine!
