Eva Redamonti is a New York artist who focuses on fine art, illustration, and animation, and she is also a multimedia artist and musician. Recognized by creative institutions like Adobe, the Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, and American Illustration. Eva specializes in digital art, illustration, and comics, as well as traditional inking techniques. She has two silver medals from the Society of Illustrators in both illustration and animation. Much of her editorial illustration work revolves around topics such as mental health, futurism, and empowerment. Eva currently teaches at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. She had worked with clients such as the New York Times, CNN, NPR, WIRED, Politico Magazine, The New Scientist Magazine, amongst others.
To Eva, everyone is an artist. As an art educator and teacher, Eva aims to inspire her students by constantly expanding and sharing knowledge of various creative art techniques, tools, and artists. For her, having fun while learning in art classes is a crucial part to getting great ideas. Eva believes providing individual time and attention observing and critiquing each student’s artwork is critical for everyone’s learning and growth. By creating a caring, comfortable and relaxed classroom environment while cultivating a down-to-earth relationship with her students, Eva enjoys opening fruitful discussions around the artwork students create. She believes the process of art-making can be cultivated without fancy supplies or tools, and Eva loves to work creatively with whatever she can get her hands on.
Eva has taught children and adults of all ages, and she has participated in noteworthy artist residency programs such as Adobe. Eva has collaborated with musicians and photographers, and she exhibits her work throughout New York City as well as globally. Eva received her Bachelors in Music in Boston, Massachusetts, and continued her studies of Illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
