FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our hourly rate is $140. We will provide you with a breakdown of how we have spent those hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally we like to start with a site survey with the client(s) but we are okay if we receive photographs and an overall plan with dimensions of the existing space to begin the conversation. After understanding the scope and budget of the project, here is usually how we like to breakdown the process - 1. Space planning - We ask the client(s) how they utilize the space we are working with so that we can provide our input by creating floor plans that will be the most efficient within the given space. 2. Mood Boards - After setting ourselves with a space/floor plan that works best, we create mood boards for each of the spaces to get an idea of what the client(s) prefers in terms of materials, textures and colors. 3. Rendering - To get a mood and feel of the room/area we create images of the spaces. This helps the client(s) visualise the space with all the elements put together. 4. Drawing Set - If the project requires a bid from a contractor we tend to create drawings to communicate the required scope of work. 5. Budget - While we wait for contractors to give us the bids to compare, we tend to create PDF's with all the required furniture, fixtures and equipment. 6. Editing - If the cost of construction, materials and FF&E is over budget, we tend to bring down construction costs wherever possible and try to look for alternative materials, furniture, etc. to meet the required number. 7. Construction Management - We coordinate all required handlings with the contractor.
