FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Lets start with a discovery phone call. I'd like to hear what your needs are to see if we're a good fit. 2. In person consultation to see your space. 3. Work on design boards and creating an overall feel for your space. 4. This is where I take the reigns and deliver a beautiful space.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over a decade of design experience. I studied interior design at Parsons School of Design in New York City. My background is diverse as I started in film working as a production designer and set decorator then moved into hospitality design for vacation rentals. Before starting Layered Life Studio, I worked for 3 years as a Design Manager overseeing a national team of 12+ interior designers and project managers for a home concierge company.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My very early days in design were spent watching my mother renovate and flip homes. With a love for design early on, I went to film school and spent my 20s working in film as a production designer and set decorator. I believe my path into design has given me a unique perspective and vision toward crafting interiors.
