I will say that the final quality of the work was great. The owner seems really reasonable and polite kind but my overall experience was good. I am just going to recount the events here and say I am relieved the work was done and done well. I sent them photos of the room and hallway I needed painted it was already taped and everything removed from the walls and I had purchased the paint. They said a gallon was enough I checked twice. They showed up 3 hours late to paint when they showed up they said they "had not seen all the photos" and immediately doubled the cost of the job. Fine I needed it done and my time to go through this again not worth it. Because they showed up 3 hours late it had to be split across 2 days and they would "give me a deal" if they could do the second day when they were already in the area which happened to be when I was at work so I had to come home. They originally only wanted to do a single coat of paint for which I refused to pay them for a completed job. I then had them put my things back up on the walls and patched a few holes which they did an oustanding job at but was another 250. They then left all of their trash in my house and happened to take my keys on their way out with them which is a huge safety risk for me as a female. I have had to change my locks. They brought the keys back at 10pm that night. While the work was great I ultimately missed a day of work, and 2 workout classes with missed class penalties on top of the lock situation and them price switching me multiple times. Maybe they feel like they got one over on me but now it is on their reviews which they asked me to leave multiple times even while they knew they had my keys and had not returned them yet. Anyway if I am robbed or something happens to me then let this review be a clue lol

We are a young business and try our best. I believe that our experience helps us to grow.. In this particular case, our work did not involve demolition or any dust-intensive tasks—aside from the tools you purchased and an empty paint bucket. If you had requested additional cleanup, we would have been more than happy to assist. We acknowledge our oversight in not reviewing the provided photos more carefully. However, the total charge of $450 for painting both the living room and a long hallway with two coats is significantly below the standard market rate—approximately half of what is typically expected. Additionally, the average cost for mounting a new TV generally starts at $200, with separate charges for installing shelves, curtain rods, and repairing the wall from the previous installation. Our total charge of $250 for this work was highly competitive. Had a price adjustment been requested, we would have been open to discussion, but unfortunately, this was not brought up. In total, you paid $700 for professional services. Given that two workers completed the project over a day and a half, this equates to $250 per person per day—an exceptionally reasonable rate. Regarding the keys, we sincerely apologize for mistakenly taking them along with our tools. Due to our commitments with other clients, we were unable to return them immediately, but as soon as we identified the oversight, we informed you without delay. We fully understand any concerns this may have caused and are prepared to cover the cost of replacing the lock if necessary. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to the possibility of working together again in the future. As a gesture of goodwill, we would be happy to offer a complimentary service. They arrived early to the job, made suggestions for what materials would get the task done best, were efficient and thorough, and cleaned up after themselves.
