FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer competitive pricing for guitar lessons - - $35 for 30-minute sessions - $50 for 45-minute sessions - $65 for 60-minute sessions Additionally I offer a ~7.5% discount for 4 pack of lessons. To make sure it's a good fit, I provide the first lesson for 50% off!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To get started, I recommend a 15-minute introductory call where we discuss your experience, musical interests, and goals. I'll also share details about my teaching style and outline the next steps to arrange your free trial lesson.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been playing guitar for 30 years, taking lessons in rock, blues, bluegrass, and jazz. I minored in music at Stony Brook University, studying music theory and tonal harmony, and have played bass and guitar in various bands. My diverse musical background includes violin, piano, and drums. With over five years as a corporate trainer, I've honed my skills in teaching, keeping students engaged, and designing effective curriculums. One of my unique strengths as a teacher is that I like to be very organized with my students - I prepare thoroughly for each lesson, assign clear homework, and provide a website with learning materials and a 2-minute summary video after each session.
